Where does the trolley go?
The McKinney Ave Trolley travels on a 4.6 mile track through Uptown Dallas from the Turntable at the Uptown Station, 2700 CityPlace W Blvd. to the Dallas Arts district downtown.

How much does it cost to charter a trolley?
Our minimum 2-hour trolley charter is $570, and each additional hour is $285.
This rate includes private use of the whole car for the length of your event, reasonable set up and clean up, and 20% gratuity for one of our knowledgeable Motormen hosts.
How many people can be at my event?
Each car can host up to 35 adults. Please contact us to discuss larger groups.
When can I reserve a trolley?
We are now offering Charter reservations every day of the week!
Charters are available:
- Monday-Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 pm
- Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m
If you would like to reserve a time outside these hours, let us know and we can try to accommodate.
How long can I book a trolley?
We have a 2-hour minimum on our charters, but you can book as long as you like! Just consult with our Business Manager on the times you’re looking to hold the reservation and we’ll work with you to accommodate what you need.
How long does a loop around the Trolley line take?
A complete circuit of the 4.6 mile track takes about an hour, depending on weather and traffic. You can start and end at any one of the designated stops on the M-Line.
Where do we get on the trolley?
You can start and end at any one of the 42 designated stops on the M-Line.
What about food and drinks?
You may bring your own Beverages and Food, or if you like, we can connect you with one of our favorite local eateries to discuss catering.
Does the M-Line have a refrigerator for events?
No, but we do have coolers that can hold approximately 24 standard 12 oz. cans
Are alcoholic drinks allowed on a charter?
Alcoholic drinks may be provided by the charter host on a BYOB basis, but M-Line personnel are prohibited from loading or handling these. And of course, alcoholic drinks are allowed only on adult Charters. Kegs are not permitted.
Are the trolleys wheelchair accessible?
The historical nature of our trolley cars keeps us from updating our accessibility offerings. However, we can accommodate special requests or load a wheelchair at our Car Barn on Oak Grove Avenue by prior arrangement.
