There are several ways you can help preserve an irreplaceable part of Dallas' heritage by supporting the McKinney Avenue Streetcar operations.

MATA is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. We depend on grants, sponsorships, and membership gifts from individuals. You can help ensure that the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority is still restoring streetcars, preserving Dallas history and teaching its future leaders for years to come.

Members are invited to special social functions, receive the quarterly newsletter and participate in streetcar events.

Volunteer participation is welcome in all areas of operations: Streetcar operators, conductors, mechanics, electricians, administrators, public relations and more. Whatever your specialty, there is a place for you.
